Balmoral Grove is a 110 place Aged care facility located in Grovedale, 10 minutes from Geelong city.
The facility has well established garden surrounds and internal courtyards throughout for residents, families and friends to enjoy. The facility provides high care and low care ageing in place. Most rooms are single with private bathroom, some single with shared bathroom and also twin share accommodation offering spouses the opportunity to live together with the benefit of 24hr care. Each wing has multiple lounge areas with dining facilities adjacent to internal courtyards. Residents enjoy a comprehensive lifestyle program which includes individual, group and community activities as well as weekly Church Services. The clinical care services on each of the four wings are co ordinated by Nurse Managers and relevant clinical equipment and care services are provided by well trained care staff.
Balmoral Grove provides extra services in its South Wing, where residents enjoy additional lifestyle and care services along with therapy and treatments on request. The menu selection enables residents in extra services to enjoy a range of beverages and meals on request.
Balmoral Grove provides a bus fitted with a hydraulic lift ramp which facilitates wheelchair access. This bus is used extensively by Lifestyle staff to facilitate resident outings.
Located directly behind Balmoral Grove Aged Care Facility is Balmoral Mews Retirement Villas which offers 24hr emergency call system linked to the Aged Care facility. 2 bedroom units with solar hot water, remote control garage and a large activity centre for all residents to enjoy.
