Accreditation
Accreditation is the arrangement established by the Australian Government to verify that residential aged care homes provide quality care and services for residents. To become accredited, the approved provider must meet specific requirements set by the accreditation entity and is then required to undergo a thorough review process by a team of evaluators to ensure all of the standards of quality are met.

We are pleased to advise that at ACSAG all of our facilities are fully accredited.

For further information on accreditation, visit the Aged Care Standards & Accreditation Agency website at www.accreditation.org.au

Food Safety
A Food Safety Program (FSP) has been developed for all ACSAG facilities and aims to maintain and continuously improve the already high standards of food safety for all food produced within each of our premises. This is achieved through using the Hazards Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) approach of identifying the hazards to food safety and outlining how these identified hazards will be managed on a day to day basis.

The FSP is consistent with the requirements of the Food Act 1984. The objectives of the program are to ensure compliance with legislative requirement, maintain and improve food safety management standards, and achieve of the goals and objectives of ACSAG.

We are pleased to advise that at ACSAG, all our facilities have their food safety certification.
