Cosgrove Park offers different levels of accommodation. There are high and low care beds, respite opportunities in a range of room configurations from single rooms to shared two, three and four bedrooms.
Spacious lounge rooms are spread throughout the building to provide residents with a large range of choices to sit and relax. The most popular area is in the large solarium with its spectacular views over South East Launceston and the mountains as a backdrop. The facility features many other lounge rooms boasting some of the best views in Launceston of the Tamar Valley.
Cosgrove Park Aged Care Facility has provided care for many residents and their families over the years. This has occurred while providing opportunities for staff in employment and continuing education, combined with strong relationships with education and training institutions, resulting in higher standards of service, particularly in relation to the nursing provided.
As a result of the many years of contribution to the Tasmanian community Cosgrove has a mature set of buildings, it is however, about to commence an extensive building development which will result in a state of the art aged care facility combined with a new estate of independent living units (ILU's).
Managers and staff work together as a team to provide the best possible outcomes for residents and their families. With input from residents, families, visitors and regulating bodies we are enable to respond to the changing needs of our community. Staff expertise in the area of aged care encompassing dementia and challenging behaviours is highly respected throughout the North of Tasmania.
The service has achieved a three year accreditation in May 2006
