Millward offers eight independent living units, 40 low care beds and 60 high care beds - 32 mainstream and 28 dementia specific. Millward nestles at the top of the Blackburn Road exit from the Eastern Freeway.

Each resident in Werona/Koonung has a private room with ensuite providing residents with their own private space for those times when moments of quiet reflection is preferred.

Millward provides families who have relatives living with dementia with monthly support meeting with our dementia consultant. Overnight family accommodation is also available for relatives who wish to be close to their family member during times of concern or during the palliative care stage.

Residents are involved in lifestyle activities including outings on our twelve seater Mercedes Benz bus fitted with a hydraulic lift facilitating wheelchair access. Bus services are also available at front door taking you to Blackburn Station and local shops.
